7 Things You Should Know to Raise Up The Bike Speed and Be The Winner

Racing bike is always the most interesting activity to do outside in the weekend or spare time. Some people love to do racing by riding the bike and try to spur the bike speed as fast as they want. Physic, energy, experience and power are keys to raise the bike speed up and to be winner in the competition. Customarily, in the bike community’s activities, racing is become a special and interesting competition to be followed.
To raise the bike speed up, you should pay attention to 7 things that I will tell you. It is not a secret, but sometimes we do not know how to do the right thing so. Bike speed is correlated with power and the bike itself, so you need to combine both of them to reach the speed that you want. Now, let’s talk about those 7 things.
Prepare your body and stamina.
There is not an easy way to raise the bike speed up, moreover to be the winner. We must sacrifice something to get something that we want. So, if you want to be the winner in this weekend, and you get the honor around your club mate, you must prepare your body and stamina. Exercise and good food will build your stamina in maximum level. Don’t eat fat too much or your body will heavier than before, and it will block your bike speed.
Do maintenance to your bike
All you need to do is modify the bike’s weight by removing unnecessary component such as heavy rim of wheels (you can by the lighter one), lamp, accessories, iron brake, you can replace with the plastic one, the lighter tire and also the lighter chain.
Do not forget to grease your chain and also another components requiring lubricant. Slippery chain and lubricant component will help your bike speed to run faster and faster.
Replace your basic components
To raise your aero dynamic element, you can replace your handlebar with the lower type, and you can also replace your bike seat with the sporty style. By changing both components your position will be change into racing biker position. It really helps you to pass the air without any pressure. The result, you will run as fast as possible and your bike speed could be impossible to overtaken.
Learn the track
Before racing, you must have tried the track for two or more laps. Learn and observe the tracks and each bend.
Learn your new bike modification
It is useless if you have replaced the basic bike components, you have also learnt about the track but you cannot handle your bike speed properly. You must learn your new bike’s performance so that you are not surprised with your bike speed and its respond.
Do warming up
Sport is sport. You need to do warming up so that your muscle is ready when you need its power. It also important to avoid get injured or over tiredness caused of forcing muscle.
Do not paddle while on the jumping track
This last tip is important to keep your position stable and you can hold you bike speed very well. When you are passing the jumping, stop your feet at the pedal as the last position. And after landing, you can start paddling as your feet position before. It is head for keeping your stability while landing on the ground.
Those are the seven tips that will help you to raise the bike speed as fast as you want, have a nice racing.
