Electric bikes are now designed with many models and styles. It appears as a cheap form of transport for a short distance from home to town for shopping, work or fun in the afternoon with partner, friends or families. Electric bikes are safe for nature, because it does not use gasoline as the fuel. The bikes combine old staircase with the modern technology of a battery-powered engine. This kind of vehicle can be a cheap alternative transportation for family and students.

Before talking about the component and others, it is a good idea to talk about the electric bikes history. The history is started when Baron von Drais made wooden “walking machine” in 1817 to use in the royal gardens. Then the wood or bone shaker bicycle in 1865 with the pedals directly to the front. The first all-metal bicycle, high wheel bike, so named because the front was the length of the rider off the track, was in 1870 with pedals still on the front and had solid rubber tires. Since the bikes have been refined, the front and rear wheels has the same size with hard tires. The pneumatic tire came next, invented by a young doctor named Dunlop.

Bicycles itself were popular in the 1880 and 1890. Men work for the transfer and the ladies were impressed by the bustle and corset manufacturers to use the lighter two-wheeled bicycle. During 1960 and 1970, the “English 3-speed” became popular, followed by a 10-speed bicycle in the 20th and derailleur Century, mining and battery-powered bicycles.

Now, we are going to talk about the electric bikes models and types

Electric bikes are customarily divided into two categories:

The first is Pedal models, the rider to pedal to help the engine. And the second is motorcycle models with a gas. This kind of bike has no pedals.

Some bikes components are almost like toys, while the other combinations between bicycles, electric and electronic functions. The distances of electric bikes may depend on the type of batteries. These range from the less expensive lead-acid wet or gel batteries with an expensive lithium-ion or nickel-metal hydride batteries. Trailers can be added to electric bicycles, some of the routes can accommodate up to 100 pounds.

Electric bikes are provided by various government schemes. In some places they are as bicycles, and require no license or registration, others are speed and power determines its status. The Institute for vehicles must be adapted to the legislation on electric bikes.

These electric bikes are seen as an innovative technology and deserve to be developed more intensive to reach the real goal in the future. This penetration is a new hope for human in this world to get an alternative transportation that is safe for nature and atmosphere. The global warming phenomenal is being discussed by all country in Europe, Asia and Africa. This is not a game or joke. People must start to think from now to reach the green and cool world.
