Get Your Own Way with Specialized Mountain Bikes

There are many ways to get healthy. One of the ways is doing some exercises. Riding a bicycle is one type of sports. People who ride bicycle are called biker. Biker always uses his or her bicycle to go to the office, walking around the city, or other interesting place. A biker usually is someone who cares about the environment around them, because using bicycle doesn’t produce any pollution. There is a biker who likes riding the bicycle to the mountain. He or she likes to get the adventure from the off road mountain. To do his hobby, a biker needs to use special bike, that is a mountain bike. Specialized mountain bikes are a bike which is used for off-road cycling, because the activities riding bicycle in the mountain is different with the common road. The activities are unpaved roads, traversing of rocks, step declines, trails, logging roads. The specialized mountain bikes need to be able to stand with the strengthened on the off-road with some obstacles like logs, ramps, and rocks.

One of the advantages we can get by using specialized mountain bikes are more comfortable when we ride it in off road track, because specialized mountain bikes are designed for off-road field. Mountain bike has less emphasis on weight and more strength, the component of specialized mountain bikes are built from stronger and heavier materials.

But by using specialized mountain bikes, there are also some disadvantages like it is heavier than a common bicycle, quite expensive, and decreased pedaling efficiency. However there are some types of specialized mountain bikes based on the suspension: fully rigid, hard tail, soft tail, and dual or full suspension. All of them have their own characteristics, so you have many choices to choose what you like most. Specialized mountain bikes have developed rapidly recent years ago.
