2006 models
The Specialized Sirrus is awesome bicycle for people who really want the compact speed and geometry of a road bike but need the comfort and maneuverability of flat bars from the real road bike. It has 48x38x28 chain rings at the front and a 12-25t cassette on the back that is good enough for most terrain.

I have been heard some negative information about the stock rims (Alex Rims S500s), but I have yet to get any problems after a couple of hundred even thousand km and the stock specialized flak Jacket tires can be a bit hairy in the rain or wet track. Above of all, this 2006 Specialized Sirrus model is a good bike, it is depending on the personal use style.

Strengths:
It has nice compact geometry, fast, light, comfortable.

2005 models
I am not really sure what year my bicycle is, but I have purchased it off Craig list almost one and half year ago. I rode this specialized sirrus bike all year long some part of the bike that has given me problem is the wheels only. I guess it is mostly due to bad engineering system, since I replaced the wheels with wheels that are more oriented towards my riding style. Unfortunately that adds the bike weight unless you want to buy a wheelset that is worth more than the bike that I choose not to while I am going to school. Creates a nice ballz-out atmosphere biking to work and even made it down a couple sweet jumps! I’ll never part with it unless it is for a newer model with better wheel technology that has been developed by the manufacturer.

Strengths:
It is a specialized sirrus, so it is mass is remarkably balanced. This bike is very fast, agile, and has comfort pedal.

Those specialized sirrus bikes have been recovered better by the manufacturer and this year have been released with newer model and better technology. So, I have given you some reviews about specialized sirrus, so now you are the person who should decide to buy it or not. However, if you really want to buy this bike, I suggest you to find the information as much as possible in order to get the right style and model depending on your biking style.
